The project

Partnering with Cedar Woods Properties, PEAKURBAN has undertaken the civil engineering, projects management and contract administration services from Stage 3 onwards. Located 12km north of the Brisbane CBD, this development utilises over 90ha of natural corridors and recreation space to create a unique, leafy, village like atmosphere.

Our task

The development also includes the construction of the Rosella Street bridge over Cedar Creek. A 2-dimensional flood model (TUFLOW) was constructed to support the application and detailed design of the bridge. Analysis included impact assessment, estimation of velocities and potential scour to the existing Cedar Creek.

Bulk earthworks, rock and retaining strategies were critical when designing and constructing at Ellendale considering the undulating natural topography.
